Earlier this month, Oak Tree Mobility hosted a charity football match to raise money for five fantastic charities.
We’re delighted to announce that the match raised an incredible £463.61!
The Oak Tree team competed against iO Associates, the Centre for Sustainable Energy, BNP Paribas, and Jubb, all of whom share our office block in central Bristol.
The proceeds will be split between the Alzheimer’s Society, Help Bristol’s Homeless, St. Peter’s Hospice, Together for Short Lives, and the Jessie May Children’s Hospice.
The tournament kicked off at 6:15pm at the AEK-Boco Football Club in Bristol with a match between Oak Tree Mobility and Jubb on pitch one, and BNP and iO on pitch two. Plenty to keep spectators entertained!
We’d like to say a big thank you to Lee Howard, our Contact Centre Operations Manager, for organising the pitches and for arranging transport to and from the tournament.
Everyone got into the competitive spirit, and there were some outstanding goals scored by all the teams.
In their final game of the day, the Oak Tree team were up against iO, and both sides were feeling the pressure!
The players gave it their all, but there could only be one winner…
…and after an incredibly close game, Oak Tree brought the cup home!
In second place was the team from iO Associates, who were awarded their very own (slightly bigger!) trophy.
Congratulations guys, we hope you enjoyed those well-deserved drinks!
Everyone had a great evening, and we’re really proud to have been able to raise so much money for our chosen charities.
